Join CASC
Questions?
If you wish to join CASC or have any questions about membership please contact:
Jeremy Moore on 0401 349 995.
Online registration
Swimmers join or renew their membership of CASC via the Swimming NSW website. This also includes registration with Swimming NSW (sometimes referred to as capitation). The swimming year goes from the 1st October each year to the 30th September of the following year. If you join after 14 September 2009 your membership will be valid from the date you join until 30 September 2010.
Remember you cannot train with CASC or compete without a valid membership for the current year.
There is no need to complete a paper form. For those swimmers under 16 years of age a parent must also join CASC.
New Members
If you are a new member click on the image below and select Canberra ASC from the drop down menu.
You will be prompted halfway through the process to enter details for each family member. At least one parent needs to join if the swimmer member is under 16 years of age. Parents who are on the CASC Committee or assist at meets as officials (including timekeepers) need to be members of CASC.

Renewals for Existing Members
If you are already a member of CASC click on the image below to renew your membership. You will need your user name and password which was emailed to you when your registration fell due. If you have lost the email please follow the instructions on the Swimming NSW website to obtain a new user name and password.
If you are renewing as a family the primary member is the parent member and must login in first. If you have two parent members, the oldest parent is the primary member.
Once the primary member has logged in and confirmed their details, you will need to login for each other member so you need a user name and password for each member. Make sure you carefully check the details entered for each member.
After you have logged in and confirmed the details for each member you will be taken to the payment page.
At least one parent needs to join if the swimmer member is under 16 years of age. Parents who are on the CASC Committee or assist at meets as officials (including timekeepers) should be members of CASC.

Training Fees
Training fees are a separate cost. CASC swimmers train at either Civic pool or Club Aquatics at the AIS pool at Bruce.
At Club Aquatics the training fees are set by the AIS Swim & Fitness and depend on the swimmer’s squad allocation. These fees are paid monthly and the AIS will advise you of the cost.
At Civic the training is provided by CASC and the fees are set by squad allocation and are paid in three monthly blocks. You will be given an invoice for your training fees each quarter. Swimmers at Civic need also to pay pool entry costs to the Civic Pool management.
